  15. AIDS-related tuberculosis; in Ibiza, Spain. Elliott, married
  16. twice and the father of two children, was known among his
  17. intimidated colleagues as a supporting star whose talent often
  18. eclipsed the top of the bill. During World War II, he developed
  19. his thespian skills in a most unlikely venue -- a German POW
  20. camp. Recent triumphs included the warm-hearted socialist father
  21. in A Room with a View, and the endearingly doddering professor
  22. in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
